Jane Wenham was an Englishwoman accused of witchcraft in the early eighteenth century. She was brought before Judge Powell, who, despite witness claims of seeing her fly, dismissed the charges. Wenham admitted to the supposed ability but was released, and her case marked one of the last English witch trials. The trial reflected changing attitudes toward witchcraft in England.
