Quirinus Kuhlmann (1651-1689) was a German mystic and poet known for his visionary experiences and controversial religious ideas. Kuhlmann claimed to have had divine revelations and mystical encounters, which led him to develop a unique theological system that blended elements of Christianity, Kabbalah, and other spiritual traditions. He traveled extensively throughout Europe, preaching his ideas and attracting followers, but also facing opposition from religious authorities. Kuhlmann’s writings often expressed his visions and prophecies in a poetic and symbolic language. He was eventually arrested in Russia for his controversial religious views and executed in Moscow.
