Dojartzabal was a young witch aged fifteen to sixteen who confessed around 1609 to having been led to a sabbat by another witch, who was held in prison. The accused witch denied the allegations, claiming that she was bound by heavy iron chains and under constant surveillance, making it impossible for her to leave her cell. She also stated that even if she had escaped, she would not have returned. However, Dojartzabal explained that since she was lying near her mother, the witch had come to fetch her in the form of a cat to transport her to the sabbat. Despite their chains, witches were believed to be able to attend these gatherings, although the devil had no means to free them from justice. She further asserted that the devil, who abducted her from her mother, had placed a figure that resembled the witch, who likely only sought a small vengeance unless she was suffering from an illusion. This supposed witch, who probably only exercised minor revenge, was not punished.
